Hanoi

O glorious Internet! You make the world bigger -- and closer. My father, an American, was whisper close to being sent by the US Army to Vietnam. Instead, he was sent to Korea. Which, 40 odd years ago, to hear him tell it, was a little backwater with one usable road.

So much of recent American history has been linked with Vietnam, yet I know very little about this country. But I have readers from  Vietnam so it is probably only right that I score Hanoi with my Great Leveling algorithm.
