Jakarta

Asian, Muslim, one of the most populous countries in the world. We should all hope the best for Indonesia and its capital city, Jakarta. In researching this burgeoning economy, I was most struck by its failure; a failure to rapidly adopt smartphones and fully leverage the mobile web.

This can be easily modified; it is the easiest of all my ranking factors -- but just as critical for success in this age of the Great Leveling. Similarly, the city per my research seems far less connected to the globe, and offers far less education (overall) as it could -- and as it should if it seeks global or even high-regional cultural and economic aspirations.
