As of today's Apple media event, iTunes is confirmed as the world's largest digital media store. Steve Jobs announced these aggregate iTunes download numbers:
- 450 million TV episodes
- 11.7 billion songs
- 100 million movies
- 35 million books

Oh, and iTunes sales are about to surpass CDs.
