I've told you this til you're sick of it. Problem is, too many people still don't believe, still don't understand. PCs are dinosaurs. It's why Microsoft is a dinosaur, why Dell is a dinosuar. They thrive on a dying ecosystem. I am happy to report, I have a new convert: the CIO of Big 10/11 university, Purdue. The desktop is a dinosaur -- and a drain -- and the university needs to evolve.

Similarly, note that in the smartphone wars, a critical factor for success is SOCIAL. It's one of the meta-trends driving global business, economic and cultural transformation. It's why Facebook ranks so high in my Technology Rankings. Thus, no surprise that Google is seeking a "Head of Social."
