Toronto

I love Toronto, though I try to be absolutely unbiased in calculating my rankings. Toronto is a cleaner, safer, nicer Chicago, with the self-involvement -- but not self-importance -- of New York. The diverse, ethnic neighborhoods are walkable, the city is well-connected with the world and the metro area has several great universities.
